Refinement

by on Dec.17, 2005, under Uncategorized

This was written to be as clear and unobfuscated as possible. (Of course, it’s much easier to read with an editor like Vim that highlights the text to show you what’s code and what’s data…)

$c = "http://www.nyx.net/~gthompso/quine.htm";
$a = "\$_ = \$a;
s/([\"\\\$\\\\])/\\\\\$1/g;
print \"\\\$c = \\\"\$c\\\";\\n\\\$a = \\\"\$_\\\";\\n\$a\";";
$_ = $a;
s/(["\$\\])/\\$1/g;
print "\$c = \"$c\";\n\$a = \"$_\";\n$a";

    In case you missed it on my journal:

    “Buntot ng page” is literally the “tail of a stingray”, but it’s used to describe a type of whip, if I recall correctly. If you’re going to put it as a title, you can write it as “Buntot ng Page” since “ng” is pretty much “of”.

    Well, yeah, the heroes had to struggle, but geeze, both Knowledge and Wisdom powers were pretty much useless. Everytime they’re used, the heroes realize their meaning only *after* the fact. 😛
