Game called on account of rain

We were going to visit my brother in Philadelphia today, but it’s apparently raining all along the East Coast, so we’re doing it Tuesday instead.
And…yep, that’s all I have to say right now.
I return!

I’m back from Philadelphia! We went to see the Rainbow Connection Festival, which was sort of an afterschool theater activity for middle and high school kids where they wrote and performed original musicals. Of course, they got help in the form of a playwright giving feedback on their writing, as well as a certain Mark Evans writing and performing original music…All in all, though, it was quite an impressive achievement, and definitely something I think the kids will be proud of.

Back from another showing of Titanic. The musical based, not on the movie…but on the ship. This production was about as good as you could get it, I think. Good actors and voices…couple sound problems, but oh well. Still, the book is…it just has some problems. Some of the lyrics are just clumsy. Oh well, that’s only my opinion…at least it was sort of enjoyable.
On the way home, the radio was on a classic rock station…I got to hear two songs I was sort of familiar with but had never actually heard: “Sharp-Dressed Man” and “I Love Rock ‘n Roll”. (Quiz question: What connection do these songs have?)
Also…uh…hm, I had something else to say here, I think, but I forgot what it was. Oh well. If I remember, I’ll update again.
